RONALDO
Cristiano Ronaldo could win
another three Ballons d’Or before he retires according to Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Real Madrid coach
told AS: ‘Without doubt he will
be competing for the prize in the next two to three years. As will Messi.
'The rest will have to wait a
bit longer. I think he can keep up his current level for another three or four
years yet.’

2013 at Real Madrid
2014 at Real Madrid

Ancelotti was asked about
Ronaldo and Messi’s domination of the award - they have won every incarnation
of the annual honour since 2007, when Kaka was the last ‘other’ player to win
the Golden Ball while playing for Ancelotti at Milan.
Ancelotti said: ‘Ronaldo was
very serious and very professional and he scored in almost all the games. When
I left the club he supported me publicly but the best thing he did for me was
to train hard every day being a great example to the other players and scoring
so many goals.’
The Bayern Munich coach also
praised current Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
He said: ‘Experience is not
the most important thing. Zidane has knowledge, charisma and personality. He
has everything to be a success and he is on a great run at the moment.’
Looking ahead to his current
team's Champions League last-16 meeting with Arsenal, Ancelotti did not name
the Gunners among the teams he feels could win the tournament.
He said: ‘I have said that
there are seven teams that could win it: Madrid, Barca, Atletico, Manchester
City, PSG, Juventus and Bayern.’
