The 200, 000 dollars Asamoah Gyan-funded pitch at the Accra
Academy School in the national capital, Accra, is almost done.
Latest images show a beautiful turf built up to global
standards, bringing to an end 5 months of work by Turksih firm Hatko.
The turf is going to be officially handed over to the school
soon, in a ceremony, handlers say.
Gyan is a former student of the school, who left in 2002. At
Academy, he was trained by the then resident school coach J. E. Sarpong.
He is captain of the Black Stars and currently plays for
Shangai SIPG in the Chinese first tier league.
