CONTE AND COURTOIS
THIBAUT COURTOIS believes Chelsea can prove their title credentials in
their next two games.
The Blues are in flying form at the moment and earned another hard
fought three points against Middlesbrough yesterday.
Their 1-0 win at the Riverside Stadium took them to the top of the
Premier League table, a point ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City.
Antonio Conte's side now face tricky back-to-back clashes against
tittle rivals Tottenham and City and Courtois knows that pair of games will be
crucial to their hopes of reclaiming the league crown.
He said: "It is very nice to be top again.
"We have fought hard. It was a difficult season last year for the
fans and the club, the players had a lot of criticism as well.
"But we can't relax now. We face two big opponents now and
hopefully we can show that we are ready to fight for the title."
Chelsea finished a disappointing 10th last season after a
torrid campaign both on and off the pitch but their win over Boro yesterday was
their sixth consecutive in the top-flight this term.
They haven't conceded a goal in that remarkable string over victories
and Conte has reaped the rewards after switching to a 3-4-3 formation. Antonio

After their games against Tottenham and City, Chelsea have a favourable
run of fixtures around the festive period.
They face West Brom, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Stoke
before the end of the year.
