FIFA 17's top 20 Premier League players revealed

LEICESTER CITY

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has the honour of being the best rated Premier League star on Fifa 17, but not one of Leicester's title winning heroes have been named in the top 20.

The release of the latest installment of the franchise, set for September 29, is as highly anticipated as ever and the full list of player ratings has finally been revealed.

Unsurprisingly Arsenal (5), Chelsea (5), Manchester City and (4) Manchester United (3) hold a monopoly over the game's most skilled players when it comes to English football's top flight.

FIFA 17'S TOP 20 PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYERS

 1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Man United – 90

 2. David De Gea – Man United – 90

 3. Mesut Ozil – Arsenal – 89

 4. Thibaut Courtois – Chelsea – 89

 5. Sergio Aguero – Man City – 89

 6. Petr Cech – Arsenal – 88

 7. Eden Hazard – Chelsea – 88

 8. Kevin De Bruyne – Man City – 88

 9. Paul Pogba – Man United – 88

 10. Hugo Lloris – Tottenham – 88

 11. Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal – 87

 12. David Silva – Man City – 87

 13. Santi Cazorla – Arsenal - 86

 14. Cesc Fabregas – Chelsea – 86

 15. Vincent Kompany – Man City – 86

 16. Dimitri Payet – West Ham – 86

 17. Laurent Koscielny – Arsenal – 85

 18. Diego Costa – Chelsea – 85

 19. Willian – Chelsea – 85

 20. Philippe Coutinho – Liverpool – 85

Vardy and Kane's omissions seem to suggest that the Three Lions' European Championship failings played a big role in deciding the ratings. No Englishman features anywhere in the games overall top 50.

Ibrahimovic and team-mate David De Gea are the sole representatives from the Premier League in the top 10, with Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo (94) overtaking former face of the game, Lionel Messi (93), to take the No 1 spot.

The 31-year-old gets a boost after leading Real Madrid to Champions League glory and Portugal to Euro 2016 success.
