FIFA Ranking: Ghana drops to 43rd

Ghana has dropped on the latest Coca Cola/FIFA Ranking from 35th to 43rd on Thursday.

The Black Stars failed to beat Rwanda at home in AFCON qualifier and also lost to Russia in an international friendly in Moscow.

On the African continent Avram Grant’s men have dropped from second to fifth, behind Cote D’voire second placed Algeria third placed Senegal and fourth placed Tunisia.

In the world ranking, Brazil climbed back into the top five for the first time in a long time as South American rivals Argentina and emerging European giants Belgium kept their positions at first and second respectively.
