BRAVO
Pep Guardiola was delighted with Claudio Bravo's Manchester
City debut on Saturday, despite the goalkeeper being at fault for Manchester
United's goal.
Guardiola's men beat the Red Devils 2-1 at Old Trafford as
Bravo turned out for the Premier League side for the first time following his
move from Barcelona.
The Chilean shot stopper was brought in to replace Joe Hart,
who moved to Torino on loan due to Guardiola's preference in goalkeepers with
greater distribution and technical ability.
The shot stopper did not get off to a great start, it
seemed, as he collided with one of his own players
and fumbled a cross,
allowing Zlatan Ibrahimović to fire in his side's goal to cut City's lead.
Guardiola, though, insists Bravo had a fantastic game.
"What Claudio Bravo did was one of the best performances
I've ever seen," he said afterwards.
