CECH AND COURTOIS
If there’s one thing that is guaranteed, it’s that Willian
will give you consistent performances week in week out.
He may not be an
Eden Hazard or Neymar, but the 28-year-old runs all day long and gives his 100%
on the pitch, something that is cherished by Conte and Mourinho.
So, while picking
his 5 a side team for our official website, Willian had to make a decision between
chosing Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois. Who did he chose?
“My goalkeeper was a hard choice because there is Petr Cech
and Thibaut Courtois who are both very good.
“Cech was the
goalkeeper here when I joined and his history with this club is very important,
but I’m going to pick both of them as they’re great goalkeepers and I can’t
choose!”
That is the first
time I have seen someone chose 2 Goalkeepers in his 5 side a time. Other than
the duo Eden Hazard is another Chelsea player who makes the cut along with
David Luiz.
